What is Profhilo®?
Profhilo® (also known as 逆时针 in Chinese) is a patented bio-remodelling injectable technique.
It is the first “injectable skincare” that targets skin laxity and aging signs by bio-stimulating collagen, elastin, and adipocytes (fat stem cells) which are lost as our skin ages.
Profhilo® is also the only HA (Hyaluronic Acid) injectable that stimulates elastin production to address skin laxity.
It has one of the highest HA concentrations on the market (64mg / 2cc), which significantly improves skin moisture levels.
What is this Treatment?
This bio-remodelling injectable technique is designed to target skin laxity and aging signs by stimulating the natural production of collagen, elastin, and fat stem cells, which diminish with age.

How Does Profhilo® work?
Profhilo® is the first BDDE-free injectable Hyaluronic Acid for the treatment of skin hydration and laxity in the world.
Thanks to one of the highest HA concentrations on the market (64mg/2cc), the stabilized HA lasts for roughly 28 days in the skin.
Profhilo® is a combination of two types of hyaluronic acid: L-HA and H-HA. Hyaluronic acid is released slowly and over a longer length of time in this HA hybrid, allowing for bio remodelling.
L-HA is a hybrid compound that gives you the Hydro effect by gradually releasing hydration to your skin.
H-HA achieves the Lift effect by establishing a stable HA architecture in the dermis, which promotes volumetric replenishment.
Four different forms of collagen and elastin are stimulated by the progressive release of HA over time.
The expression of type I and type III collagen, as well as type IV and VII collagen, has risen histologically in keratinocytes.

Each Profhilo® treatment session typically take around 30 mins.
The immediate hydrating benefit can be seen as early as one week after treatment, with the best results appearing one month later. The lifting and tightening of the skin is a result of bio-remodelling, thus it will take 3-6 months to see results.
According to studies, a two-session program with one month interval is recommended.
2 programs are recommended for best results. Eczema-prone skins, as well as those with more severe indications of aging, usually require 2 programs before entering the maintenance phase.
Profhilo® is well tolerated by most individuals when used with topical anesthesia (numbing cream).
There is very little downtime with this procedure. Due to the rheological features of Profhilo®, there is no need to massage the bumps after treatment. Tiny bumps and moderate swelling may emerge immediately after treatment, but they should go away within one day.
Injection bumps may last longer in people with thinner skin who receive treatments around the neck. Bruising and pain are common side effects of injectable therapies.
There are no known side effects though there may be temporary swelling and bruising which will fade off.
